A Snapshot of Your DayJoin our Grid Technologies Services organisation and become the driving force behind improvement, productivity, and digitalization across the Europe & Africa hub. You will work with the regional teams to find where time, cost, and quality are being lost, turn those findings into well-founded improvement measures and digital use cases, and see them through to real adoption and measurable benefit. Acting as the bridge between your hub and the global Operational Excellence and Digitalization teams, you make sure that regional needs shape the global digital agenda and that global solutions actually land and get used in the region. How You’ll Make An ImpactIdentify improvement, productivity, and digitalization opportunities across the Europe & Africa region, working closely with service centres, project execution, field service, engineering, and bid tendering teams.Detail opportunities into decision-ready cases: business impact, cost or time baseline, productivity lever, expected benefit, and the process or data change required.Act as the regional entry point into the global use case funnel. Register, qualify, and prioritize regional demand together with the global Operational Excellence and digitalization teams.Consolidate the region’s productivity measures, maintain the underlying data and documentation to reporting standard, and ensure consistent, non-duplicated recording of benefits.Own the business side of regional use cases through delivery: requirements, subject matter expert involvement, testing, training, rollout, and adoption.Track expected versus actual benefit after go-live and escalate gaps, so that committed improvements are genuinely realized and sustained.Apply Lean methods, value stream mapping, root-cause analysis, Kaizen, standard work, to simplify processes before automating or digitalizing them.Drive quick wins to a fast, pragmatic result by defining scope and requirements tightly and steering the delivery teams that build them.Build digital and process improvement capability in the region: enable local key users, share reusable solutions, and promote a continuous improvement culture.Represent Europe & Africa in global process, data, and digitalization initiatives, and make sure regional realities are reflected in global standards. What You Bring3 to 5 years of experience in process improvement, operational excellence, productivity programmes, digital transformation, or a comparable role - ideally in a service, project, or manufacturing environment.Practical experience applying Lean methods to improve operational performance, with the ability to quantify a baseline and a benefit credibly.Proven ability to translate business needs into clear requirements for analytics, workflow automation, and AI solutions, and to steer their delivery without owning the technical build.Experience coordinating initiatives across regions, functions, and management levels, including working with central or global teams.Confidence in working with data - understanding where it comes from, where it is weak, and what it takes to make it usable for reporting and decisions.A structured, hands-on, and outcome-focused mindset, comfortable with both workshop facilitation and detailed follow-through.Advanced English proficiency; further European languages are an advantage.Availability for business travel across the region is required.Nice to haveKnowledge of SAP, Salesforce, Power BI, process mining, RPA, or AI applications is an advantage;Lean or Six Sigma certification is beneficial.About The TeamOur Grid Technologies division enables a reliable, sustainable, and digital grid.
