DevOps Engineer – Workday | Rabobank | UtrechtFor Rabobank in Utrecht, we are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer / Workday Solution Specialist with strong expertise in the Total Rewards domain.You will join Rabobank’s Global HR Systems team and help maintain, improve and further develop the Workday platform used by more than 43,000 employees worldwide.The RoleAs a Workday Solution Specialist, you will translate business requirements into scalable, user-friendly and future-proof Workday solutions.Working in an Agile and DevOps environment, you will collaborate with HR, IT, Product Owners and other specialists to improve processes and employee journeys across compensation, benefits, rewards, absence management and other Workday capabilities.Your Responsibilities• Analyse business requirements and translate them into sustainable Workday solutions.• Design and configure Workday functionality in line with global standards and architecture principles.• Configure and maintain solutions within Workday Core HCM, Compensation & Benefits, Advanced Compensation and Time & Absence.• Assess the impact of proposed changes and validate new Workday releases.• Advise stakeholders on solution options, trade-offs and implementation considerations.• Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, automation, data quality and user experience.• Support testing, defect analysis and release deployment.• Develop and maintain functional documentation and knowledge materials.• Provide user support, knowledge transfer and training where required.• Work with integration and technology teams to assess the impact on connected systems.• Contribute to the continued development of Rabobank’s global HR technology landscape.What You Bring• At least 5 years of hands-on Workday configuration experience.• Strong expertise in one or more of the following modules:– Workday Core HCM– Compensation & Benefits– Advanced Compensation– Time & Absence• Experience translating business requirements into practical system solutions.• Experience working within complex international organisations.• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.• Good knowledge of HR processes and the employee lifecycle.• Experience working in Agile and DevOps delivery environments.• Familiarity with Workday release management, testing and change implementation.• Excellent written and spoken English.Personal CompetenciesYou are proactive, collaborative and comfortable taking ownership of your own deliverables.You also bring:• Strong stakeholder-management skills.• A structured and quality-focused approach.• The ability to work independently and prioritise effectively.• A continuous-improvement mindset.• Resilience and adaptability.• The ability to combine strategic thinking with hands-on delivery.
