The role involves assessing and right-sizing existing data-center environments, designing AWS infrastructure, and migrating virtual and physical workloads to the public cloud.Key ResponsibilitiesDefine cloud migration strategies, principles, and HLD/LLD for AWS environments.Design and implement AWS Landing Zones aligned with AWS CAF.Conduct FinOps assessments and optimize cloud infrastructure costs.Design and implement cloud-based Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions.Architect hybrid cloud, networking, and security solutions.Evaluate and recommend infrastructure solutions to support seamless migration.Translate business and technical requirements into scalable, secure, and cost-effective infrastructure solutions.Lead technical discussions and manage key stakeholders.Mandatory Technical Skills12+ years of experience in AWS cloud build, migration, and transformation projects.6+ years of hands-on experience with IaC, automation, and DevOps, particularly Terraform and Ansible.Strong AWS expertise across compute, networking, security, storage, and DR.Hands-on experience with hybrid cloud architecture and network integration.Experience with Active Directory migration and Microsoft technologies.Strong knowledge of:VMware / Hyper-V and virtualization technologies.Windows Server, Active Directory, Failover Clustering.AD, LDAP, NTP, and SMTP services.Cloud migration and data replication tools.SaaS integrations, particularly IAM and Azure AD.Hands-on experience with Shell scripting.PreferredAzure cloud experience.Experience with data-center transformation programs.AWS CAF / Landing Zone implementation experience.FinOps and cloud cost optimization experience.Soft SkillsExcellent verbal and written communication.Strong documentation and solution-design capabilities.Ability to lead technical discussions.Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
