You’ll collaborate with multiple development teams with deploying and maintaining time-series forecasting and generative AI applications. The role focuses on building reliable, secure, and observable platform in GCP using Kubernetes, IaC, and automated CI/CD pipelines. Contract type full-time Place of work Bratislava, Slovak Republic Start date ASAP Wage (gross) From 3 500 EUR/month About the position Working in a distributed DevOps team across multiple locations using agile practices Supporting the design and operation of core infrastructure on GCP for data science and Python-based ML/AI workloads Maintaining and improving Kubernetes environments with Helm and ArgoCD Developing and reviewing Terraform modules and cloud configurations Managing GitLab CI/CD pipelines across applications, infrastructure, and ML projects Implementing and optimizing autoscaling strategies for workloads and clusters Ensuring robust observability across monitoring, logging, and tracing using Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, and Tempo Troubleshooting issues across cloud, container, networking, and application layers Enhancing platform reliability, cost efficiency, and developer experience Educating developers and data scientists on best practices and relevant parts of the technology stackWe work in a HYBRID STYLE of working with the possibility of working from home , but twice a week we meet in the office in Košice or Bratislava for meetings.The published salary is the minimum possible offer.The starting salary may be higher depending on the extent of fulfillment of the employee's requirements (education, language skills, required practice, personality assumptions and skills). What we expect Candidates with education suit the positionSecondary with school-leaving examinationLanguage skillsEnglish - Advanced (C1)Personality requirements and skills Fluent English; German is a plus Minimum 4 years of professional experience in DevOps or related roles Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field Strong expertise with at least one major cloud provider (GCP preferred; AWS/Azure acceptable) Extensive experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm charts, and container-based production systems Understanding basic security concepts and helping to identify and mitigate common vulnerabilities Solid hands-on proficiency with Terraform and GitOps tools such as ArgoCD Strong experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, ideally with GitLab CI Proficiency in Unix/Linux administration, shell scripting, and practical networking fundamentals Experience with monitoring and observability solutions (Grafana stack; ELK also relevant) Familiarity with autoscaling concepts (HPA/VPA, cluster autoscaler) Experience with relational and document databases, such as PostgreSQL and MongoDB, is a plus Experience with OpenTelemetry instrumentation is a plus Benefits that make you happy Annual Bonus (Variable Pay): In accordance with the employer’s compensation Remuneration policy, employees are eligible for an annual bonus of up to 5% of their annual base salary total cash, subject to achieving 100% of the performance criteria defined by the employer.* Meal Allowance: Meal contribution of EUR 7.50 per working day, of which EUR 6.50 is paid by the employer, provided in advance via a Ticket Restaurant card or as a financial allowance. Flexible Working Hours: Employees can organize their working day according to their preferences, while respecting the core working hours from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. My Days: Entitlement to one or more paid leave days without the need to provide a medical certificate.
