About the CompanyWe are a product-focused IT company building scalable, high-performance iGaming solutions for international markets, including projects like Sweepstakes US and Casino SA. Our core focus is engineering a reliable, high-load backend infrastructure capable of handling massive traffic.As we scale our operations, we are looking for an experienced Backend Software Engineer to join our engineering team on-site in our Prague office.Role OverviewIn this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our microservices architecture, integrating robust payment systems, and building high-load platform features from scratch. You will work closely with cross-functional teams (QA, DevOps, Product) to deliver clean, well-tested, and optimized code.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain a highly scalable microservices architecture.Integrate diverse payment systems and third-party APIs; develop custom internal payment solutions.Build and implement new platform features, including bonus systems and gaming services.Design, optimize, and maintain SQL and NoSQL database schemas.Manage containerized deployments using Docker, Kubernetes (EKS), and AWS services.Participate in system architecture design, code reviews, and testing to maintain high code-quality standards.Collaborate closely with backend colleagues, QA engineers, DevOps, and Product Owners.Required Qualifications & ExperienceExperience: 3 to 6 years of commercial backend development experience.Core Tech Stack: Strong proficiency in Node.js and NestJS, with a deep understanding of JavaScript and TypeScript.Architecture: Practical experience building and scaling microservices.Databases: Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.Infrastructure & Tools: Proven experience with:PostgreSQL and RedisRabbitMQ (or similar message brokers)Docker & Kubernetes (EKS)AWS (EKS, S3, IAM) and GitMethodologies: Strong understanding of clean architecture principles and writing highly maintainable code.Language: Professional working proficiency in English (B2 level or higher).Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Have)Commercial experience with Go (Golang).Experience working with ClickHouse.Proficiency in writing Unit and Integration tests.Background in high-load systems, live streaming, Live Casino, or the iGaming industry.What We OfferWork Environment: A modern, fully equipped office in Prague with high-end hardware provided.Impact: The opportunity to build a new, international product from the ground up.Engineering Culture: A technically strong team, a modern stack, and minimal bureaucracy.Growth: Highly competitive compensation and clear paths for professional and career advancement.
