QA/QC Engineer / Supervisor – Civil Works | Berlin, GermanyNGR Search Talent is currently looking for an experienced QA/QC Engineer / Supervisor – Civil Works to join a major industrial and energy construction project in Berlin, Germany.Our client is a leading international construction and infrastructure group, delivering large-scale and technically complex projects across Europe and internationally. Due to the continued development of one of its major projects in Berlin, they are strengthening the site quality team with an experienced Civil QA/QC professional with Option for Remote.Reporting directly to the QA/QC Manager, you will be responsible for implementing and supervising civil quality control activities throughout the construction phase, ensuring compliance with project specifications, contractual requirements, approved procedures and applicable quality standards.This is a site-based, hands-on position, working closely with construction teams, engineering disciplines and subcontractors throughout the execution of the project.Key Responsibilities• Implement and supervise QA/QC activities related to civil works• Coordinate and perform site inspections in accordance with approved Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs)• Monitor the quality of concrete, structural and general civil works• Verify compliance with project specifications, drawings, approved procedures and applicable standards• Review and maintain inspection reports, quality records and supporting documentation• Raise, manage and follow up Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and corrective actions• Monitor subcontractor quality performance and ensure compliance with project requirements• Support the implementation of the Project Quality Plan and Quality Management System (QMS)• Coordinate quality activities with construction, engineering and subcontractor teams• Participate in inspections, testing and quality surveillance activities on site• Support the preparation of quality dossiers, completion records and handover documentation• Contribute to continuous improvement of quality processes throughout the construction phaseRequirements• 5–8+ years of experience in Civil QA/QC positions within industrial, energy, infrastructure or major construction projects• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related technical discipline• Strong practical experience in concrete, structural and civil works quality control• Previous experience working directly on construction sites during the execution phase• Good knowledge of ITPs, inspection procedures, NCR management and quality documentation• Knowledge of relevant ISO standards and Quality Management Systems (QMS)• Experience coordinating inspections and monitoring subcontractor quality activities• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications and construction documentation• Strong communication, organisation and coordination skills• English B2/C1 minimum• German language skills at B2 level are considered a strong advantage• Available at short notice, ideally with a maximum notice period of one month
