The Production and Quality Manager oversees daily manufacturing operations, ensuring that production schedules are met while maintaining strict food safety, quality, and hygiene standards. This role manages and coaches production and quality control teams, monitors process performance, and implements continuous improvement initiatives across lines and shifts. Responsibilities include supervising raw material handling, in‑process checks, and finished product inspections, coordinating with maintenance and supply chain to minimize downtime, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements. The manager also prepares operational and quality reports, supports audits and certifications, and collaborates with R&D and commercial teams to scale new products efficiently and consistently.QualificationsStrong expertise in food production operations, including process control, line balancing, and capacity planning.Robust knowledge of quality management systems, food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, ISO, GFSI schemes), and regulatory compliance.Experience with lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and problem‑solving methodologies (e.g., 5S, Kaizen, root cause analysis).Proven leadership skills in managing cross‑functional teams, coaching staff, and driving a culture of safety and accountability.Ability to analyze production and quality data, use KPIs to guide decisions, and draft clear operational and audit reports.Background in food technology, industrial engineering, or a related field; bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification is preferred.Hands‑on experience in bakery, snacks, or FMCG manufacturing environments is highly beneficial.Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments and with external auditors and partners.Comfort with using manufacturing and quality software systems, and openness to adopting new digital tools.Professional fluency in Arabic and English.
