As an AWS GenAI Engineer at Cognizant, you will take on the exciting challenge of architecting and configuring a robust, AWS-based Generative AI platform from the ground up — bridging proof-of-concept innovation with full-scale production deployment.You will be at the forefront of defining how intelligent, AI-driven applications are built, secured, and optimized, directly shaping outcomes for our clients in a fast-moving, high-impact environment.How You Will Make An ImpactAs an AWS GenAI Engineer, you will be a valued member of our Technology & Engineering team[1], collaborating closely with solution architects, data engineers, and AI specialists to deliver transformative GenAI capabilities at scale.In This Role, You WillConfigure Amazon Bedrock models and inference profiles to power scalable, production-grade GenAI applicationsBuild and manage Bedrock Knowledge Bases, including end-to-end metadata ingestion pipelines into PostgreSQL and Bedrock Knowledge BaseImplement vector indexing and semantic search capabilities to enable highly relevant, context-aware AI responsesDevelop seamless API integrations between AWS services and the GenAI application, leveraging API Gateway and LambdaOptimize security posture, including IAM roles, networking configurations, and secrets management to ensure compliance and data protectionMonitor and optimize LLM performance and costs using CloudWatch and AWS-native tooling to drive efficiency at scaleAt Cognizant, we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible.
