We're looking for an exceptional, senior Product Designer to join our Search Squad. Search is your home domain - but we're hiring for range and depth: a full-funnel, end-to-end design thinker who sees the whole journey, from the first search to a confident booking, and who can go deep where it counts - leading deep strategic and psychological explorations of product and brand, not just shipping screens. You'll be the design owner for some of Vio's highest-traffic surfaces - our Home and Search experience, SEO Landing Pages, and the Search Results Page - continuously optimising and improving the experience across the domain. You'll report into our central Design function, led by our Head of Design and Design Manager, and partner day-to-day with product managers, an Engineering Manager, frontend engineers, product analysts, UX researchers, and content designers. Design at Vio is a strategic function - not just how the product looks, but how it works, feels, and earns traveler trust.☑️ What you'll doOwn product design end-to-end for the Search domain - from problem definition and research through UX/UI, prototyping, validation, and developer handoff - while thinking holistically across the full traveler funnel, not just one surface.Go deep where it counts - lead deep strategic and psychological explorations of the product and brand experience, reframing the hardest problems rather than only optimising existing screens.Turn business goals, traveler needs, and data into design solutions that help people judge dozens of options in seconds and book with confidence.Design and ship optimisations and improvements across the Search experience - quality and trust signals, review clarity, price insights, and helping travelers understand how the Vio ecosystem works - and prove their impact through A/B testing.Run your own user research - picking the lightest method that answers the question - and partner with our UX Research function, turning insights into decisions and, where you can, into metrics.Prototype first: use competitor benchmarking and prototypes to gather feedback before moving to high-fidelity design.Contribute to and build on Atlas, our design system - designing reusable, tokenised, multi-brand components rather than one-offs.Raise the bar on design craft across the domain - championing user-centred, evidence-led ways of working and lifting how the whole squad designs.Use AI as a tool to work smarter - accelerating ideation, research synthesis, prototyping, and copy/variant exploration.Partner closely with product, engineering, analytics, UX research and content to align on direction, trade-offs, and delivery within a two-week cadence.🔎 Who you areYou have 5+ years designing large-scale, consumer-facing digital products, with a portfolio of shipped work. You've owned the full design process - discovery through delivery and iteration - not just handed off mockups, and you think across the whole journey while being able to go deep on the hardest strategic and behavioural problems.Your portfolio shows user-centered problem solving and business impact (ideally backed by data or metrics), alongside high-quality UX, UI, interaction, and visual design. You're comfortable designing information-dense, fast-decision interfaces such as search, comparison, or e-commerce.You design in an experiment-driven way - fluent in how user behaviour is measured across the funnel, motivated by A/B testing, and able to make sound calls when the metrics aren't there yet.You can run your own research and synthesise insight into decisions, and you work well with UX researchers. You work fluently in Figma and modern prototyping workflows, and you design with and contribute to design systems. You actively use AI as a tool in your craft to work faster without dropping quality. You bring people with you: you make the case for design decisions with evidence, influence PMs, engineers and senior stakeholders, and stay resilient when you need to hold your ground - and you navigate ambiguity well.Nice to have: experience in travel/OTA or high-traffic consumer platforms, especially two-sided marketplaces (balancing traveler needs with partner / supply constraints); familiarity with experimentation tools; exposure to multi-brand or white-label design; an interest in designing AI-assisted or conversational experiences (we have a dedicated AI team, so this is a bonus, not a requirement). We encourage people from all ethnic groups, genders, sexualities, ages, and abilities to apply. If this job description resonates with you, we'd love to hear from you. Please note: Although this role can be remote, we are only considering candidates based in CET +/-3 timezones to optimise team and work alignment.Follow us on Instagram and TikTok to see what life at Vio looks like.
