The Software Developer will design, build, and maintain back-end services and APIs that power the social media platform. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing new features, optimizing application performance, improving scalability, and ensuring reliability and security of the system. The role involves collaborating with product and design teams, participating in code reviews, writing automated tests, and contributing to technical documentation. The Software Developer will also help troubleshoot production issues and continuously refine the architecture to support platform growth.Qualifications Strong foundation in Computer Science and Software Development, including algorithms, data structures, and software design principles.Proficiency in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), with experience in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Java, C#, Python, or similar).Hands-on experience in Back-End Web Development, including RESTful APIs, databases (SQL or NoSQL), and server-side frameworks.Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code, with familiarity in version control systems such as Git.Effective communication and collaboration skills, comfortable working in a remote, cross-functional team environment.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure), microservices, or containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.Interest in sports and social media products, and willingness to contribute to a fast-paced, evolving platform.Sourced from LinkedIn.
