Context :To support the company’s platform resilience strategy, we are recruiting a Platform Engineer to design and deliver high-quality, highly resilient AWS platform services.This role operates within a business-critical cloud environment with strict standards for availability, reliability, security, automation and operational excellence.You will take hands-on ownership of engineering delivery, with solid comprehension of AWS platform architecture design.Mission :You will define, design and build reusable technical foundational components for a fully AWS-native cloud platform.All delivered solutions shall be fully automated, testable, secure, production-ready, and consistent with the company’s existing platform standards & engineering best practices.Key Responsibilities:Audit and challenge the target architecture designed for critical cloud workloads, propose optimization suggestionsReview technical patterns for data processing, replication, data synchronization and recovery orchestrationConvert resilience & disaster recovery requirements into stable, practical and horizontally scalable technical solutionsBuild cloud infrastructure components following Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and GitOps standards Partner with platform, infrastructure, security and application development teams to guarantee end-to-end system consistencyEstablish formal operational runbooks and maintain technical documentation under the company’s knowledge management frameworkProactively identify technical risks, cross-team dependencies, single points of failure and operational process gapsTechnologies & Technical Environment Cloud Provider AWSCore services: VPC, ECR, Lambda, GuardDuty, Security Hub, Secrets Manager, ACMData & Streaming: OpenSearch, Kafka/MSK, ElastiCache/Redis, AWS IoT, S3, Kinesis Video StreamOrchestration & ContainerKubernetes / EKS, Helm, HashiCorp VaultDevOps & IaC Tooling ArgoCD, GitLab, Terragrunt
