Recognized as Microsoft Partner of the Year with multiple awards, we help major organizations transform their business with Azure, Microsoft Fabric, Databricks and AI technologies.Your RoleWe are looking for a Data Engineer to join our team and work on cutting-edge, enterprise-scale Data projects with solid expertise in Microsoft Fabric and Azure Data Platform, a proven consulting background, and strong interpersonal skills to support clients technically and in project management and delivery governance.What You Will DoDesign and deliver enterprise-scale Microsoft Fabric and Azure data solutions, building robust pipelines and scalable data architectures across complex environments.Build and evolve Data Solutions on Azure, Microsoft Fabric and Databricks.Take end-to-end ownership of data pipelines, from data processing to BI-ready datasets.Deliver real consulting projects across industries, working in Agile teams and reacting quickly to evolving requirements.Provide personalized support to clients, working closely with them on-site in a hybrid model, ensuring effective collaboration and solutions that align with their business objectives.Build lasting relationships with end business stakeholders and own the commitments made to them.Collaborate with an international team of experts at MDW to grow together.Technical RequirementsExperience with Databricks, Azure Data Platform and Microsoft FabricExperience with Azure services (Data Lake, Data Factory, Functions, Logic Apps, etc.)Strong skills in Python/PySpark and SQLExperience with data modelling: star schemas, snowflake schemas and medallion architectureExperience with CI/CD using Azure DevOpsNice to HaveExperience designing real-time workflows using technologies such as KafkaKnowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Bicep, ARM or PulumiKnowledge of Structured Streaming, Delta Live Tables, Fabric Eventhouse, etc.Experience with Master Data Management (MDM) and data governance tools such as Microsoft PurviewSoft Skills & LanguageAbility to make and honour commitmentsAbility to build relationships with end business stakeholdersStrong client communication skills, ensuring effective management and a positive experience throughout the projectExperience working in an Agile environmentFluent in Spanish and EnglishWhat We OfferPermanent employee contract (Spanish payroll).100% remote within Spain, flexible working environment.30 days of paid vacation.3 Team Building events per yearDedicated budget for training and certifications.Hands-on work with Generative AI, RAG and agent-based architectures.Ownership across the full lifecycle of cloud-based AI applications.Modern Azure-based stack.Client-facing project work, where we aim to keep stable teams together across projects whenever possible.Compensation: 35K-45KLocation Requirement: Candidates must reside and have legal authorization to work in Spain.
