Based in The Hague, with flexibility to work from home when it is needed.What You Will Be DoingPlanning, organising and conducting formal reviews and assessments across complex and cross-functional domainsIdentifying non-compliance with organisational standards and getting to the root causeProducing the test documentation that matters: event test plans, test cases, requirements traceability matrices, test reportsProviding assurance over test artefacts, the traceability matrix above allManaging the design, planning and execution of verification and validation events, and reporting on themActing as independent verifier on projects delivered by external contractorsSupporting the operational community through operational acceptanceWhat you will needFive years or more, recent, owning verification and validation planning and execution on large complex projects. Be ready to describe two programmes where you authored or led the master or event test plan and directed execution, not simply contributed test cases under someone else's planThree years or more, recent, of functional, non-functional and interoperability testing. Expect to walk through a campaign you designed, how pass and fail criteria were set, and what you foundExperience managing external stakeholders on large projects, including a real escalation you resolvedThe ability to read hardware and software architectures from design documentation and spot the testable riskTeam leadership experience: tell us the team size, your actual role, and a resourcing or performance decision you madeTesting in virtualised and cloud environments, and the specific platforms you usedTest, defect and requirements management tooling, and how you used it for traceability on a real projectAn advanced testing certification, NATO or military domain experience, and interoperability testing are all welcomeWhy this one is worth a lookIndependence is written into the role rather than negotiated case by case.
