Senior Project Manager – Business & Risk Analysis - JiraThis is a freelance contract for 3 months initiallyThe rate is €98 per hour, it is 40 hours per week3 days per week in the Amsterdam officeWe’re looking for a Senior Project Manager with strong business analysis and risk/impact assessment capability to support initiatives within a Tech Standards function. You’ll partner with cross-functional stakeholders across product, technology, and business teams to ensure changes to planning, reporting, and tooling are evidence-based, well-scoped, and delivered smoothly—while proactively identifying downstream impacts, dependencies, and risks. What you’ll doLead initiatives end-to-end from discovery through delivery and handover to business-as-usual.Define and maintain project goals, KPIs, roadmaps, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.Produce clear project reporting: progress, decisions, risks, issues, and mitigations.Conduct risk and impact analysis for changes to tooling, workflows, governance, and reporting.Translate business needs into clear requirements (problem statements, business rules, acceptance criteria, user impacts, implementation considerations).Use operational/tooling data (e.g., Jira reporting) to validate assumptions, identify patterns, and support prioritisation.Coordinate improvement backlogs and working-group actions; ensure follow-ups are tracked and progress remains visible.Influence stakeholders up to senior leadership level; create alignment across teams with different priorities.What we’re looking forProven experience delivering cross-functional projects with measurable outcomes.Strong business analysis skills: structured problem definition, requirements writing, and stakeholder facilitation.Strong risk/impact analysis mindset; able to anticipate second-order effects of process/tooling changes.Comfortable working with delivery partners / tooling teams and translating needs into implementable requirements.Confident communicator who can present options, trade-offs, and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.Experience working with Jira and using data to drive decision-making is highly preferred.
