We are looking for an experienced Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to support the delivery of Integrated Command and Control (ICC) related gap capability work packages in military and defence environment.The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Java, Python, SQL, modern web application development, CI/CD, Linux, containers, automated testing, and legacy application modernization.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot server-side applications and services.Develop software using Java and Python.Design and work with SQL databases and data schemas.Manage source code using Git.Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and/or GitLab.Implement rigorous automated testing practices.Develop and maintain applications running on Linux.Work with container technologies such as Docker and/or Podman.Translate UI/UX designs into responsive web applications using React and/or Angular.Debug and troubleshoot issues in existing and legacy codebases.Support the modernization of legacy applications and systems.Collaborate with technical teams to deliver reliable and maintainable software solutions.Support software development activities related to Integrated Command and Control (ICC) capabilities.Mandatory Qualifications & ExperienceCandidates must meet all mandatory requirements:Strong professional experience with Java and Python.Solid knowledge of SQL and data schema design.Good understanding and practical experience with Git.Hands-on experience with Jenkins and/or GitLab CI/CD.Experience with automated software testing.Professional experience working with Linux operating systems.Experience with container engines such as Docker and/or Podman.Experience developing responsive web applications using React and/or Angular.Experience debugging older/legacy codebases.Proven experience modernizing legacy applications or systems
