Your primary responsibility will be to design, implement, and optimize models for AI based processing of raw SAR signals as well as object recognition.The ideal candidate has hands-on experience building AI based signal processing for raw (level 0) SAR signals as well as object recognition solutions.You will work closely with hardware engineers, algorithm specialists, and software developers to ensure that our radar data processing is efficient, accurate, and scalable.You will be part of a small, early and focused team working closely with the company founders.Your actions will directly shape and impact the technical advancements.You will design, assemble, and test advanced radar systems, including airborne (e.g., drone-based) configurations. Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement robust AI models to process raw radar (lvl. 0) for the recognition of objects and structuresBuild production-ready processing frameworks that are reliable, scalable, and suitable for real-time or near-real-time operationWork with hardware and platform teams to integrate your solutions into a deployable payloadContribute across the SAR system development lifecycle — from simulation and design through testing, validation, and deploymentLead testing and data collection for AI model trainingEnsure efficient use of compute (GPU/CPU) for high-speed SAR processingWork with SAR engineers to provide clean, high-quality SAR data outputs for automated detection and classification tasksRequired QualificationsStrong background in Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR), ideally having worked on end-to-end system designProven experience in AI based processing for SAR signalsHands-on software development experience in Python, C++, or CUDA (GPU acceleration a big plus)Knowledge of radar systems, RF fundamentals, and signal processingExperience with motion compensation, calibration, and error correction techniques in SARStrong system-level thinking: ability to bridge between algorithm R&D and deployable production codePreferred QualificationsExperience with SAR payloads for airborne platforms (aircraft, UAVs) or even spaceborne satellitesExperience with material penetrating SARExperience working on defense-grade SAR systemsWho should ApplyEven if you don’t meet every single requirement, we strongly encourage you to apply.
