Location: Remote-first, SpainEmployment: Full-timeEnglish: Professional working proficiencyEligibility: Residency in Spain required About the roleLove Brand Group is looking for a Full Stack PHP Developer to join our technology team and help build and evolve our digital platforms for community management and campaigns across European markets.You will work mainly with PHP and Laravel, while also contributing to databases, APIs, background processes and the frontend. This is a hands-on role where you will work closely with the Tech Lead and product/business stakeholders to deliver and improve real production features.We are looking for someone who can take ownership of their work, solve problems independently and write code that is clear, maintainable and well tested.What you'll do:Develop and maintain web applications using PHP and Laravel.Build and integrate REST APIs and third-party services.Develop full-stack features across backend, database and frontend.Design and work with relational databases, queries, migrations and data integrity.Work with queues, jobs, events and asynchronous processes.Investigate bugs, performance issues and production problems, identifying their root causes.Write automated tests and contribute to code reviews and refactoring.Work with Git and pull requests as part of the development workflow.Work from Jira tasks and acceptance criteria, collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Contribute to improving our development practices, code quality and platform reliability.What we're looking for: Required2+ years of professional software development experience, including at least 1 year working with PHP in production.Strong practical experience with PHP and Laravel.Good understanding of object-oriented programming and software design.Solid experience with SQL and relational databases, particularly MySQL or PostgreSQL.Experience building or consuming REST APIs and integrating external services.Understanding of background jobs, queues and asynchronous processing.Good knowledge of JavaScript, HTML and CSS.Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows.Experience writing automated tests - TDD.Familiarity with Docker and CI/CD environments.Ability to debug problems and investigate their root cause independently.Good written and spoken English.Residency in Spain.Nice to haveLivewire, Alpine.js or Tailwind CSS or React.js.Pest or PHPUnit.Redis or other caching systems.AWS, SQS or similar cloud services.PostgreSQL or NoSQL databases.PHPStan or other static-analysis tools.Linux, Nginx and PHP-FPM.Symfony as a desirable framework.Explicit Clean Code, SOLID and design patterns wording.Explicit Clean/Hexagonal Architecture, Domain Events and CQRS wording.Observability and monitoring tooling.Explicit multi-tenant SaaS, API-first platform design and event-driven integrations as stated requirements.CI/CD pipelines and automated quality checks.Security fundamentals such as OWASP, XSS, CSRF, SQL injection and authorization.Experience identifying N+1 queries and other performance issues.Experience with architectural patterns, modularisation or domain-driven design.Experience working with SaaS products, integrations or event-driven systems.Comfortable learning and adopting new technologies.What we valueBeyond specific technologies, we're looking for someone who:Takes ownership of their work and can deliver independently.Can investigate unfamiliar problems and find solutions using documentation and other resources.Knows when to ask for help and communicates issues early.Cares about code quality, security and maintainability without over-engineering.Is comfortable receiving and giving constructive feedback.Can communicate technical topics clearly with both technical and non-technical colleagues.Understands that good software starts with understanding the business problem, not just the technical implementation.What we offerRemote-first working from Spain.Flexible working schedule.Full-time position in an international product team.Direct collaboration with the Tech Lead and product/business stakeholders.Real production work with opportunities to learn and take increasing ownership.A development environment focused on code quality, testing and continuous improvement.A modern, up-to-date tech stack.Annual gross salary depending on experience and assessment.Interested?Follow Love Brand Group on LinkedIn,Send your CV, minimum yearly salary & a brief motivation letter to hr@lovebrandgroup.com with the subject: “Full Stack PHP Developer — Laravel – [Your Name]”
