You will support and cooperate with the Project Technical Safety Lead in the execution of the project activities, especially during the engineering phase of the project, in process safety, loss prevention or risk analysis, safety studies and RAM.How can you support us? Here below your responsibilities:Process Safety, i.e.Hazid, Hazop analysis and related follow up processLOPA, Bow-Tie AnalysisFunctional Safety Lifecycle (SIL allocation, calculation, SRS, Verification)Project Technical Integrity LifecycleLoss Prevention, i.e.Hazardous Area Classification (HAC)Passive Fire Protection including cold spill/splash (PFP&SCP)Fire and Gas Detection (including F&G Mapping Studies)Escape Routes, and safety equipmentRisk Analysis, Safety studies and RAM, i.e.Risk analysis such as Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA), Fire & Explosion (& Dispersion) Risk Assessment (FERA), Cryogenic Risk Assessment (CRA), Explosion Risk Assessment (ERA), CFD modelling and Dropped Object Risk Assessment (DORA)Safety studies such as Escape, Evacuation and Rescue Analysis (EERA), Emergency Systems Survivability Analysis (ESSA), Temporary Refuge Impairment Analysis (TRIA) – for offshore plant, Smoke and Gas Ingress Analysis (SGIA), Pressure Vessels Survivability Analysis (PVSA)Reliability, Availability and Maintainability (RAM) analysisInterface with Clients and other Project Partner on technical issuesEvaluate and manage suppliers and sub-contractor bids involved in the Technical Safety activitiesWhat are we looking for?Education: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in technical disciplinesExperience: Minimum of 5 years’ proven experience within the Oil & Gas Industry, ideally both for onshore and offshore fields, in the same or similar positions with International Main Contracting & Engineering Companies or Consultancy Companies on Technical Safety matters.Languages: Italian (minimum C1), English (minimum B2). Proficiency on additional foreign language is a plus.Technical/IT SkillsFamiliarity with software tools relevant to Technical Safety in one or more of the above-described technical areas e.g. exSILentia, PHApro, FLACS, Flaresim,…; in particular, the knowledge of tools for Risk Analysis and Safety studies such as PHAST, SAFETI is considered a plus.What else should you know?
