In this position, you’ll play a central role in enhancing and supporting internal insurance technology systems, primarily using Java. You’ll work within one of client´s core engineering teams, developing critical features that directly affect business outcomesKey responsibilities include:- Design and develop backend services using Java - Create and maintain API-based interfaces that expose metadata and governance information- Engineer database solutions with focus on schema design, data models, and maintaining data integrity- Build and operate cloud services on Microsoft Azure following enterprise standards- Implement security measures when handling sensitive risk-related metadata- Enhance existing code to increase clarity, maintainability, and overall robustness- Collaborate across teams with development, DevOps, and business analytics professionals- Apply secure-by-design principles throughout the development lifecycle- Implement authentication systems using OAuth2 for API security- Develop comprehensive testing including unit and integration tests to ensure qualityThis role is suitable for candidates of all genders.
