About NebiusNebius is leading a new era in cloud infrastructure for the global AI economy. We are building a full-stack AI cloud platform that supports developers and enterprises from data and model training through to production deployment, without the cost and complexity of building large in-house AI/ML infrastructure.Built by engineers, for engineers. From large-scale GPU orchestration to inference optimization, we own the hard problems across compute, storage, networking and applied AI.Listed on Nasdaq (NBIS) and headquartered in Amsterdam, we have a global footprint with R&D hubs across Europe, the UK, North America and Israel. Our team of 1,500+ includes hundreds of engineers with deep expertise across hardware, software and AI R&D.The roleThe VPC (Virtual Private Cloud) team builds and operates the core networking layer of our cloud platform. We enable virtual machines to communicate reliably by abstracting them from the underlying physical network, providing seamless IP-based connectivity even as workloads move across the datacenter. Our team designs secure, isolated private networks for customers, connects them to the public internet, and delivers essential networking services such as load balancers, firewalls, and security groups. Because nearly every cloud application depends on networking, VPC is a foundational service for the entire platform.Stability and resilience are our top priorities—we engineer systems to remain reliable and operational even when parts of the cloud experience failures. What We DoIncrease service scalabilityDeveloping service functionality (e.g. IPv6 support, service endpoints, VPC peering, L7 load balancers and other networking services)Improve the internal architecture, optimizing interaction with related services In This Position, Your Responsibility Will Be ToDevelop control & data plane for Nebius Cloud network servicesImprove service performance and reliabilityAutomate complex cross-service interaction scenariosPerform load testing for servicesWe Expect You To HaveCapable of writing reliable, high-performance codeProficient in C/C++ or Go and ready to learn both.Familiar with routing network trafficIt Would Be An Added Bonus If You HadWorked with VPP, DPDK, and the Linux kernel network subsystemWell-versed in virtual networks and overlays, SDN, NFV, DPI, network protocols, routing and tunneling, BGP, and MPLWe conduct coding interviews as part of the process.Benefits & PerksCompetitive compensationCareer growth and learning opportunitiesFlexibility and ownershipCollaborative and innovative cultureOpportunity to work on impactful AI projectsInternational environment and talented teamsWhat's It Like To Work At NebiusFast moving - Bold thinking - Constant growth - Meaningful impact - Trust and real ownership - Opportunity to shape the future of AIEqual Opportunity StatementNebius is an equal opportunity employer.
