The problem is real, the market is large, and we are moving quickly.About the RoleThis is a founding product hire. You will define and shape the product from zero, owning everything from user journeys and information architecture to wireframes, roadmap, and backlog.You will work directly with a technical CEO and CPTO, alongside engineering, security, and data teams, to turn complex risk and identity concepts into something usable and clear.The role is hybrid, based in central Berlin, and carries real ownership over how the platform looks, feels, and works.What You'll DoDefine the product vision and translate it into a clear, actionable roadmapDesign end-to-end user journeys across the platform, from onboarding through to daily usage and advanced workflowsOwn wireframes, user flows, and interaction logic from low-fidelity sketches to production-ready concepts in FigmaDefine platform information architecture, navigation, and core UX principlesWrite PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteriaOwn and maintain the product backlogDrive product discovery, validation, and prioritisation from day zeroDefine MVP scope, iterate based on real customer feedback, and resist over-engineeringDesign data-heavy interfaces: dashboards, tables, filters, charts, and drill-downsEnsure complex security and risk concepts are expressed in simple, usable interfacesRun user interviews and usability testing, and translate findings into product decisionsRepresent the product internally and externally with customers, partners, and investorsAbout YouYou are a product person who has built complex B2B platforms before and enjoys the challenge of making difficult concepts feel simple. You are comfortable working in ambiguity, setting your own direction, and moving quickly with a small team.You care about craft, but you also care about shipping.Deep experience designing complex B2B SaaS platforms for technical audiencesStrong Figma skills, including end-to-end flows, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and design systemsComfortable writing clear PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteriaExperience working closely with engineering teams using tools like Jira, Linear, or GitHub ProjectsSolid understanding of REST APIs, SaaS integrations, and backend-driven UIsExperience defining data-heavy dashboards and complex filtering/drill-down interfacesStrong grasp of UX for complex domains such as security, risk, finance, compliance, or enterprise toolingFamiliar with product analytics and event trackingComfortable running user research and translating findings into product decisionsExperience building products from scratch at early-stage companiesNice to HaveExperience with cybersecurity, IAM, GRC, or risk management platformsUnderstanding of RBAC / ABAC, permissions modelling, and role-based UXExperience working with AI-powered features such as recommendations, scoring, or summariesFamiliarity with data visualisation librariesExposure to frontend frameworks like React, Next.js, or Vue (no coding required)Understanding of enterprise buying personas (CISO, CTO, security and risk teams)Experience designing multi-tenant SaaS platformsFamiliarity with compliance frameworks (NIS2, DORA, ISO 27001, SOC 2)Why JoinThis is a chance to be the founding product person at a funded cybersecurity company, with real ownership over how the platform is built and experienced by users.You will work directly with a technical CEO and CPTO, with fast iteration and strong alignment.
