We connect consumer, market, commercial and financial insights to the strategic choices that drive sustainable growth, accelerate category performance and strengthen the global product proposition.Working closely with Global Product Leadership, Merchandising, Planning, Regional Commercial teams, Marketing, Consumer Brand Experience and other cross-functional partners, the team develops multi-season product strategies, seasonal strategic direction and company priorities. The team also provides executive decision support and leads strategic planning, governance and high-impact initiatives that advance the Product organization’s contribution to PVH’s strategy.About The RoleAs Senior Director, Product Strategy, you lead the Product Strategy function and help shape the strategic agenda for the Tommy Hilfiger Product organization. In partnership with the Product Leadership Team, you translate company and brand priorities into a clear multi-season product direction, enabling better strategic choices, accelerated category growth and a stronger global product proposition.You oversee a diverse portfolio spanning long-term product strategy, category acceleration, seasonal direction and selected company-wide strategic initiatives. As a trusted advisor to the Chief Product Officer and Product Leadership Team, you ensure consumer, commercial, competitive and financial insights are translated into clear priorities, investment recommendations and measurable business outcomes.Leading through a Director and senior strategy professionals, you integrate portfolio priorities, establish governance and operating rhythms, and ensure the team delivers high-quality, decision-ready work with sustainable organizational impact.This role reports to the Vice President, Product Strategy & Operations.Key ResponsibilitiesIncluding but not limited to;Define and evolve the long-term Product Strategy agenda, translating company and brand priorities, consumer insights, market and competitive trends, and commercial opportunities into clear product choices and growth priorities.Shape the Product organization’s category acceleration agenda, connecting long-term opportunities with seasonal priorities, investment choices and measurable business outcomes.Lead the strategic direction for seasonal planning, ensuring multi-season ambition is translated into actionable seasonal frameworks, category priorities and decision guardrails.Integrate priorities, sequencing and resource choices across the Product Strategy portfolio, recommending which work is accelerated, deferred, reduced in scope or stopped; balance long-term strategic value, commercial impact, urgency, dependencies, organizational capability and available capacity, and communicate the implications of those choices clearly.Own and evolve the Product Strategy operating model, including portfolio ownership, planning cadence, governance, decision rights, performance measures and strategic reporting; use insights to redirect attention and resources.Lead selected strategic initiatives and transformation priorities, ensuring clear objectives, robust analysis, aligned ownership, effective execution and measurable outcomes, and that related initiatives reinforce rather than compete with one another.Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to the Product Leadership Team, overseeing executive-ready insights, recommendations and strategic narratives that support critical business decisions.Represent and champion Product priorities in company-wide and cross-functional forums, ensuring strategic decisions translate into aligned execution across functions and regions.Build trusted partnerships across functions and regions, constructively challenge assumptions, navigate complex trade-offs and influence senior stakeholders toward aligned strategic outcomes.Support the Product Leadership Team on selected high-priority executive priorities, leadership forums and special strategic projects as business needs evolve.Lead the Product Strategy function through a Director and senior strategy professionals, setting clear objectives, portfolio ownership and decision rights; delegate accountability at the appropriate level and oversee performance, delivery quality and sustainable workload, and enable the team to shape outcomes through cross-functional influence.Build organizational capability through resource and workforce planning, coaching, performance management and succession; recommend investment priorities and oversee the deployment of approved resources so the team has the capacity and capabilities to deliver the strategic portfolio sustainably.The ideal candidateExperience Typically brings 12+ years of progressive experience in product strategy, business or brand strategy, strategic planning, business transformation, management consulting or a related discipline, including at least 7 years of managerial experience leading senior professionals and leaders within complex global organizations. Experience within the apparel, footwear, retail or broader consumer goods industry is strongly preferred; experience gained within a leading global strategy or management consulting firm is considered a strong advantage. Proven experience defining and leading long-term product, category, portfolio or brand strategies and multi-year strategic planning that drive sustainable business growth, category acceleration or enterprise transformation. Significant people-leadership experience, including setting portfolio ownership, managing performance, building leadership capability and developing succession across a senior professional team.Skills Strong commercial, consumer and product acumen, with the ability to integrate market, competitive, operational and financial insights into clear strategic recommendations, priorities and resource choices. Proven ability to integrate multiple strategic portfolios, establish effective governance and performance oversight, and lead execution through senior professionals rather than retaining recurring ownership of delegable analysis or deliverables. Strong executive communication and influencing capability, with the ability to simplify complex topics, develop compelling strategic narratives, constructively challenge assumptions and negotiate critical choices with senior leaders. Demonstrates sound judgment and organizational leadership through major change, creating clarity from ambiguity, aligning senior stakeholders around evolving priorities, and balancing strategic ambition, business value, dependencies, organizational capability and sustainable delivery while accepting accountability for difficult sequencing and prioritization decisions.
