E&I Engineer Start: August / September 2026End: Initial 12-month contract (extension likely)Location: Leiden Region, Netherlands (On-site)Hours: 40 hours per weekSector: Pharmaceutical Manufacturing | Electrical & Instrumentation About the RoleA major pharmaceutical construction project in the Netherlands is seeking an experienced E&I Engineer to support the construction and turnover phases of a large-scale manufacturing facility.The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing Electrical & Instrumentation construction activities and ensuring systems are installed, documented, tested, and handed over in accordance with project requirements. The role will work closely with Construction, Quality, Commissioning, and CQV teams to drive successful system turnover and project delivery. Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor E&I installation activities against approved designs, specifications, and applicable standards.Provide technical support and resolve E&I-related field queries during construction.Verify cable installation, terminations, loop checks, and associated test documentation.Review and maintain construction quality records throughout project execution.Assemble and review system turnover packages, including red-line drawings, test records, inspection reports, and certifications.Lead punch-list walkdowns and coordinate punch closure activities with contractors.Interface with CQV and Commissioning teams regarding systemisation and turnover sequencing.Support turnover and handover activities to ensure project milestones are achieved. ProfileBachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related discipline.Minimum 5 years of experience as an E&I Engineer on industrial construction projects.Experience within pharmaceutical, biotech, chemical, life sciences, or other process manufacturing environments.Strong understanding of E&I construction practices, testing requirements, and quality documentation.Experience with cable testing, terminations, loop checks, and commissioning support.Experience with completions, turnover, or handover systems is strongly preferred.Experience working closely with Construction, Quality, Commissioning, and CQV teams.Fluent English required; Dutch is a plus.Let op: vacaturefraudeHelaas komt vacaturefraude steeds vaker voor.
