We are partnering with a leading European specialist bank in real estate and public sector financing to hire a Loan Manager / Credit Manager for its growing Loan Management team in Madrid. This is a high‑impact role working on complex real estate and portfolio financings across several European markets within an international environment.The role:Prepare simple to complex loan applications from a market perspective for portfolios in the bank’s European target markets.Analyse cash flows, structures and risks for new and existing transactions and ensure alignment with the bank’s credit risk strategy.Work closely with Originators as a point of contact for clients, covering both new business and an international existing portfolio.Take responsibility for conditions precedent/subsequent, internal credit processes and disbursement, as well as the structuring and monitoring of collateral.Perform ongoing risk and portfolio monitoring and ensure high data quality in all relevant systems.Contribute your expertise to cross‑functional projects and initiatives within Credit Risk and Loan Management.Your profileUniversity degree in business administration, economics, real estate management or a comparable banking / finance qualification.4-7 years of experience in credit risk management, ideally in real estate finance, corporate finance, structured finance or investment banking.Strong understanding of real estate markets and complex financing structures, with a solid risk mindset.Very good MS Office skills; experience with banking systems and databases is an advantage.Business‑fluent English , German and any additional European languages are a plus.Proactive, analytical and comfortable communicating with internal and external stakeholders at different seniority levels.Offer:Strong and stable banking environment with a clear specialist positioning inEurope.Diverse and challenging transaction portfolio with real responsibility from day one.Attractive compensation package and competitive benefits.Modern Madrid office and a hybrid working model with regular home‑office days.Inclusive, international culture with short decision paths and room to develop
