FPGA EngineerEuropean Tech Recruit are working closely with an exciting security semiconductor company, based in Amsterdam, who are looking for a talented FPGA Engineer to join their team.In this role you will be responsible for designing and implementing FPGA solutions for networking and security products. The role focuses on turning system-level requirements into functional, high-performance FPGA designs, collaborating closely with hardware and software teams to ensure integration and validation.Responsibilities as FPGA Engineer:Design and implement FPGA logic based on system-level requirements.Develop and maintain block diagrams, constraints, and pin mappings.Enable and integrate multiple interfaces (e.g., networking, memory, PCIe, high-speed SerDes).Implement and verify FPGA functionality using VHDL/Verilog or SystemVerilog.Test, validate, and debug FPGA designs in lab and simulation environments.Collaborate with hardware and software teams to ensure seamless system integration.Perform timing analysis, optimization, and resource management for high-performance designs.Contribute to design reviews and provide recommendations for FPGA architecture improvements.Requirements:5+ years of experience in FPGA design and implementation.Hands-on experience with Xilinx FPGAs and development tools (Vivado, Vitis, etc.).Strong understanding of digital design, timing constraints, and high-speed interfaces.Familiarity with hardware/software integration in networking or security systems.Experience in testing, debugging, and validating FPGA designs in a lab environment.If this role is of any interest please apply directly on LinkedIn or send a copy of your CV to nh@eu-recruit.com.By applying to this role you understand that we may collect your personal data and store and process it on our systems.
