We are currently recruiting for an experienced Quality Assurance Specialist to support a leading organisation within the pharmaceutical sector on an initial 6-month contract.Location: Austria (On-site)Contract: 6 monthsStart: October 2026In this role, you will provide Quality Assurance support across GMP manufacturing and Quality Systems activities, working closely with Manufacturing, Quality Control, Engineering, Validation and Supply Chain teams.The position will have a particular focus on deviation management, CAPA, change control and maintaining inspection readiness, while supporting day-to-day Quality activities across the site.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced QA professional who enjoys working cross-functionally and providing hands-on Quality support within a fast-paced GMP environment.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide day-to-day QA support across GMP manufacturing and operational activities.Review and approve Deviations, CAPAs, Change Controls and Investigations.Support root cause investigations and ensure appropriate corrective and preventive actions are implemented.Review batch records and GMP manufacturing documentation.Provide Quality oversight for validation and qualification activities where required.Support the identification and escalation of significant GMP compliance issues.Work closely with Manufacturing, QC, Engineering, Validation and Supply Chain teams.Support internal audits, regulatory inspections and ongoing inspection readiness.Contribute to Quality Risk Management and continuous improvement initiatives.Represent QA within cross-functional projects and operational meetings.About YouBachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Chemistry or a related scientific discipline.Proven Quality Assurance experience within pharmaceutical, biotechnology or GMP manufacturing environments.Strong understanding of EU GMP requirements and Quality Management Systems.Hands-on experience with Deviations, CAPAs, Change Controls and Investigations.Experience reviewing batch records and GMP documentation.Strong problem-solving and root cause investigation skills.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Ability to work effectively with Manufacturing and other cross-functional teams.DesirableExperience within biologics, sterile or aseptic manufacturing.Previous involvement in regulatory inspections or customer audits.Validation and qualification experience.Experience supporting remediation or continuous improvement projects.Fluency in English; German is highly advantageous.What's on OfferInitial 6-month contract with potential for extension.Competitive hourly or daily rate.Opportunity to support high-impact GMP Quality activities within an established life sciences organisation.Collaborative, international working environment.October 2026 start.If you're an experienced GMP Quality Assurance professional looking for your next contract opportunity in Austria, we'd love to hear from you.
