They're a top 3–5 liquidity provider on Kalshi and Polymarket.The roleThis role needs someone who's genuinely comfortable on both sides of infrastructure.The first side is cloud infrastructure: AWS, infrastructure as code, automation, monitoring and bootstrapping.The second is low-level networking: private circuits, carrier links, cross-connects, routing, RTT budgets, packet capture and Linux kernel tuning.You'll run a multi-region, multi-cloud estate that connects trading systems to exchanges across the US, Europe and Asia. Every path is held to an explicit latency budget and fully defined as code.What you'll ownChanges as code. Every change across the estate is made in code, from a single firewall rule to a new server, subnet or peering entry. Every plan is reviewed before it applies, and there is no hidden drift.Access and DNS. You'll keep DNS, firewall rules and SSH access accurate as servers come and go, reconciled from a single source of truth.Traffic failover. You'll run the automation that switches traffic between private circuits and cloud peering based on link health.Latency checks. You'll check latency and reachability against documented RTT targets, and use packet capture to prove what actually left and arrived.Host tuning. You'll tune kernel network parameters, NIC settings, IRQ affinity and CPU pinning, and bake them into reproducible bootstrap scripts.Scripts and runbooks. You'll improve the bootstrap, monitoring and blockchain-node scripts, and write runbooks that keep the next person oriented.What you'll bringStrong Linux skills: shell, services, filesystems, permissions, and log analysis when something breaks.Scripting ability to automate anything repetitive, and the patience to read other people's code and config.Solid networking fundamentals (IP/CIDR, subnets, routing, TCP vs UDP, DNS, TLS, firewalls) and curiosity about the layers underneath.Packet-capture literacy. You can tell "the request never left" from "we got no reply."Hands-on cloud experience, ideally AWS.Evidence of self-directed learning, such as a home lab, a personal project or a competitive result.Production discipline.
