You have to live in the Netherlands and have a valid workpermit.About the assignmentOne of the Netherlands' major banks, based in the heart of Amsterdam, is looking for a senior Data Analyst to strengthen its Cyber Security team. This role runs on two things most Power BI analysts don't have: proven hands-on Databricks and a PL-300 certification (or the drive to earn it as you start). You make sure the team stays one step ahead. As a Data Analyst within Cyber Security, you turn complex data into sharp intelligence — and with it, you make the bank's customers and colleagues safer.You detect threats and vulnerabilities, spot the opportunities others miss, and build the dashboards the entire department steers on. Not data for the sake of reporting, but insight that drives action. You find the real problem behind the numbers and solve it.The team is small. No place to hide — but exactly the place where your work makes a visible difference.What will you do?Identify problems and opportunities you can solve with data (science)Determine the security business value: how much does your solution really contribute to the security problem?Understand, connect and transform data sources, and visualise the insights into clean reports and dashboardsMonitor the performance and consumption of your dashboards and adjust where neededWork closely with internal process owners on accurate, effective dashboardsWhat do you bring?A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a data (analytics) related fieldAt least five years of experience as a Data Analyst — proven seniority in both soft and hard skillsProven seniority in and hands-on experience with Databricks (hard requirement)PL-300 certification. Don't have it yet? You'll obtain it when starting the assignment — this is a hard requirement for the role.Strong Power BI and data visualisation skills; solid Power Query and DAX, and demonstrable hands-on experience with Power BI ServiceData Engineering: implementing analytics from source to consumptionSQL and Azure are a plusWho are you?
