What you doYou build and maintain reliable data pipelines (ETL/ELT, using tools like Airbyte) and integrate sources such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Exact, GA4 and external APIsYou design and manage the cloud infrastructure on GCP (including BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Composer, Pub/Sub, Cloud Run and GKE) (GCP IS NOT A MUS)You safeguard data quality with validation rules, automated tests, monitoring and observability, and resolve data incidents down to the root causeYou build data models (dimensional modeling, data vault) and safeguard consistency, lineage and governanceYou set up monitoring, alerting and cost control (FinOps) and deliver AI-ready datasets for use cases on Vertex AIYou work closely with software engineering and DevOps, product management, BI/analytics and data scientists.What you bringA degree-level background and 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, Cloud Data Engineer or similarStrong SQL and Python, plus scripting and automation (Python, Bash)Experience with a cloud data platform (GCP, AWS or Azure)Experience with ETL/ELT tooling, API integrations, Git and CI/CDA solid grasp of distributed systems, data warehousing and data architectureA proactive, structured way of working and ownership of platform and data stabilityYou do not need to tick every box.
