Researchers appreciate the internationality, the outstanding research projects, the interdisciplinary cooperation and the collegial exchange in our faculty.Our current research focuses on Software Protection, Machine Learning/AI und Security und Security and Privacy of Decentralized Systems and Distributed Ledger Technologies. In the long term, we focus on understanding complex systems in order to recognise fundamental security and privacy problems and on researching and developing solutions that go beyond mere short-term problem solving.Our team currently consists of 20 scientific and 2 administrative colleagues.
