OT Security & Implementation ConsultantLocation: The Hague or Den Helder, NetherlandsWorking Model: HybridContract: 12 months, with potential for extensionStart: ASAPWe are looking for an experienced OT Security & Implementation Consultant to support a major Oil & Gas project in the Netherlands.The role will focus on the implementation, integration and security of Operational Technology (OT) environments across offshore assets and onshore operations. You will work closely with engineering, infrastructure, cybersecurity and operational teams to ensure OT systems are securely implemented, integrated and maintained in line with industry and regulatory requirements.This is a hands-on role combining OT implementation, OT cybersecurity and offshore operational support. Previous experience working directly on an offshore rig is desirable but not mandatory.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and support OT implementation and integration across Oil & Gas environments.Implement and maintain OT security solutions across offshore and onshore environments.Support the design and implementation of secure OT network architectures.Work with SCADA, DCS, PLC, industrial networking and other OT systems.Identify and mitigate OT cybersecurity risks and vulnerabilities.Support network segmentation, secure remote access, firewalls and OT security controls.Ensure OT environments comply with relevant security policies, standards and regulatory requirements.Work with engineering and operational teams to implement cybersecurity controls without impacting production.Participate in OT security assessments, risk assessments and remediation activities.Troubleshoot and resolve OT infrastructure and security issues.Support incident response and investigation within OT environments.Produce technical documentation, implementation plans and security procedures.Coordinate with vendors, system integrators and internal stakeholders.Provide technical support during offshore implementation and maintenance activities.Required ExperienceStrong hands-on experience in OT / ICS cybersecurity.Proven experience implementing and securing Operational Technology environments.Experience within Oil & Gas, Energy, Utilities or another industrial environment.Strong understanding of SCADA, DCS, PLC and industrial control systems.Experience with OT network architecture, segmentation and industrial networking.Experience with OT security technologies including firewalls, secure remote access, monitoring and intrusion detection/prevention.Experience working with IT and OT teams and bridging the gap between cybersecurity and engineering/operations.Strong understanding of OT security frameworks and standards such as IEC 62443, NIST 800-82 and ISO 27001.Experience with OT implementation projects, upgrades, migrations or deployments.Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with technical and operational stakeholders.
