With flexibility and autonomy built into how we work, you'll have the space to focus, collaborate, and perform at your best.Here, your impact matters, your growth is supported, and your experience is designed to help you thrive.WHAT YOU'LL DOAs a Senior Platform Engineer, these will be some of the key activities in your day-to-day role:Design, implement and operate scalable, secure and resilient AWS-based infrastructure that powers our engineering organization.Manage and evolve Kubernetes clusters, including EKS, to ensure high availability, performance and operational reliability.Automate infrastructure and standardize provisioning and lifecycle management through Infrastructure as Code and platform engineering practices.Operate and optimize shared platform services, including RDS, PostgreSQL/MySQL, MongoDB, Confluent Kafka, Redis, RabbitMQ, IBM MQ and Elasticsearch.Lead improvements in observability, monitoring, alerting, incident response and platform resilience, including root cause analysis and preventive actions.Define and track SLIs and SLOs for platform services while driving improvements in availability, performance, fault tolerance and disaster recovery readiness.Build self-service capabilities and improve the developer experience by reducing friction in infrastructure provisioning and operations.Contribute to platform architecture, technical strategy and roadmap decisions while collaborating closely with product engineering teams and mentoring other engineers.WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FORWe are in search of a Senior Platform Engineer to join our team in Boadilla del Monte, with the following qualifications and background:Professional ExperienceStrong experience working with AWS in production environments, designing and operating scalable cloud infrastructure. (Required)Significant hands-on experience managing Kubernetes environments, with experience in Amazon EKS. (Required)Experience operating distributed systems and stateful services at scale in high-availability or mission-critical environments. (Required)Experience with Infrastructure as Code, with Terraform preferred. (Required)Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. (Required)Experience operating messaging, event-driven and shared platform services such as Confluent Kafka, RabbitMQ, IBM MQ, Redis, Elasticsearch, relational databases and NoSQL databases. (Required)Experience defining and improving platform reliability through observability, monitoring, incident response, SLIs and SLOs. (Required)Experience with platform engineering models, internal developer platforms, SRE practices, regulated environments or cloud cost optimization. (Preferred)LanguagesFluent English.
