This role is crucial for ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of S.W.I.F.T.'s critical platforms.What to Expect:As a Senior Linux Systems Support Engineer in the Windows and RHEL Services Squad, you will:Lead the architectural design and evolution of S.W.I.F.T.'s compute, network, and database platforms, ensuring alignment with business strategy and technical requirementsDefine and enforce architectural standards, best practices, and guidelines for platform development and operationsEvaluate and recommend modern technologies and solutions to optimize platform performance, scalability, and cost-effectivenessCollaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of new platform componentsDevelop comprehensive documentation including architectural diagrams, design specifications, and operational proceduresProvide technical leadership and mentorship to junior architects and engineersParticipate in incident response and problem resolution for critical platform issuesStay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and security vulnerabilities related to compute, networks, and database infrastructureDeliver end-to-end architecture (network, compute, etc..) in line with business objectives, technical and operational constraintsDefine and update Enterprise Architecture artefacts aligned with our Architecture GovernanceWhat will make you successful:We are seeking professionals with:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related fieldMinimum of 10 years of experience in IT architecture, with at least 5 years focused on computing, network, and database platforms in large-scale enterprise environmentsDeep expertise in cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), including IaaS, PaaS, and FaaS offeringsExtensive experience with network architecture, including TCP/IP, routing protocols, firewalls, load balancing, and network securityStrong proficiency in database technologies, including relational (e.g., Oracle, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., Cassandra, MongoDB), with experience in high availability and disaster recovery solutionsProven track record in designing and implementing highly available, scalable, and secure infrastructure solutionsExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, complex, and highly regulated environmentRelevant industry certifications (e.g., TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Cisco CCIE) are a plus What We OfferWe give you the freedom to be yourself.
