You'll join at a moment where the products you launch will directly shape how thousands of merchants get paid.About the role:We are looking for a hands-on Technical Product Owner to help turn business and merchant needs into clear, deliverable product work.You will work closely with engineering, QA, support and commercial teams to manage the backlog, clarify requirements and help deliver improvements across our checkout, merchant tools and eCommerce integrations.This role is ideal for someone with a solid product foundation who enjoys getting into the detail, solving practical problems and learning how technical systems are built.You do not need to be a payments expert. What matters most is that you understand APIs, are familiar with eCommerce and are comfortable working closely with engineers.What you'll do:Own and maintain the backlog for a technical engineering team.Turn business requirements, merchant feedback and technical discussions into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.Prioritise work based on merchant impact, business value, technical effort and urgency.Run sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews and retrospectives.Work closely with engineers and QA throughout delivery, helping resolve questions, edge cases and blockers.Coordinate product releases across checkout, merchant tools and API-driven integrations.Review API documentation and translate technical requirements into practical product decisions.Investigate merchant issues with support and engineering, helping identify the root cause and the right next action.Gather feedback from merchants and internal teams and turn it into actionable product improvements.Define and monitor product metrics such as checkout conversion, error rates and product usage.Help improve how the product team documents decisions, communicates progress and organises delivery.Support post-launch monitoring to confirm that features are working as expected and delivering value.What we are looking for:Around 2 years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, Business Analyst or similar role within a technical product team.Experience working on eCommerce, SaaS, marketplaces, digital platforms or API-based products.A practical understanding of APIs, integrations, webhooks and how different systems exchange information.Familiarity with eCommerce platforms such as WooCommerce, Magento, Shopify or similar.Experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, product requirements or technical specifications.Experience working directly with software engineers and QA teams.Comfortable running agile ceremonies and managing a product backlog.Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to investigate issues rather than immediately passing them to someone else.Able to bring structure to ambiguous conversations and turn them into clear actions and decisions.Comfortable working with basic product data and using metrics to support prioritisation.Clear written and verbal communication skills in English.Curious, proactive and keen to develop deeper technical and payments knowledge.You will be a great fit if:You are comfortable asking engineers questions and challenging assumptions respectfully.You can move between speaking to a merchant, reviewing an API document and refining a backlog ticket.You do not need every process to be perfectly defined before getting started.You are happy to roll up your sleeves and help wherever the team needs you.You are looking for a role where you can learn quickly and take on more ownership over time.You have experience with checkouts, Ecommerce or a start up enviromentYou have experience with Jira and ConfluenceWhat we offer:High-impact work with fast feedback loops from your first weeks.Direct exposure to merchants, engineers and senior decision-makers.The opportunity to learn about eCommerce payments A hands-on environment where you can quickly grow your technical product skills.Real ownership over features, integrations and product improvements.A clear path towards broader product ownership as the company scales.A collaborative team that values initiative, curiosity and practical problem-solving.Ready to join us?Excited to make a difference?
