Build scalable backend infrastructure capable of handling thousands of AI phone calls per day. Build intuitive user experiences that make sense in an AI-first world. Own high-stakes projects end-to-end, from concept through production and post-release support. What We're Looking For2+ years of professional software engineering experience. Strong PostgreSQL experience, including complex queries, performance tuning, and optimization. Experience designing scalable backend architectures and making core product and architectural decisions. Familiarity with TypeScript, React, Node, and Python. Experience with scalable async processing or real-time processing systems. Experience building products for AI-first or communications-enabled platforms. Ability to own projects end-to-end from concept to production and post-release support. Strong collaboration skills — comfortable translating customer problems into product experiences alongside cross-functional teams. A track record of developing a product from 0 to 1. Familiarity with Temporal.io, Twilio, or Modal is a plus. Compensation & BenefitsSalary range: €75,000 – €160,000 EUR annually. Visa sponsorship is available.LocationOn-site in Berlin, Germany.
