With decades of engineering excellence and significant investment in R&D, the company is recognised for designing some of the most advanced communication systems used by commercial, government and defence customers worldwide.As they continue to invest in the development of next-generation communication technology, they are looking for an experienced Digital Hardware Engineer to join their engineering team.What you'll be working onYou'll play a key role in the design and development of high-performance directional radio communication systems, taking ownership of digital hardware from concept through to testing and system integration.Your responsibilities will include:Designing digital hardware for advanced communication systemsDeveloping FPGA-based solutions and integrating digital and analogue electronicsCreating circuit schematics, simulations and supporting PCB layoutsVerifying and validating hardware using modern laboratory equipmentCollaborating with software, systems and mechanical engineering teams throughout the product life-cycleWe're looking for engineers with experience in:✔ Digital hardware development✔ FPGA design (VHDL experience is highly desirable)✔ SoCs, DDR memory and high-speed digital interfaces✔ Circuit design, simulation and hardware verification✔ Hands-on testing using oscilloscopes, signal generators and network analysersNice to have:RF or communication systems experienceExperience within telecommunications, defence, aerospace or other high-reliability engineering environmentsRequirements:Degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering or a related disciplineSeveral years' experience in digital hardware developmentFluent German and EnglishWhy consider this opportunity?Join one of Europe's most respected engineering organisationsWork on technically complex, mission-critical communication systemsBe involved across the full hardware development life-cycle, from design through to system integrationCollaborate with highly skilled multidisciplinary engineering teamsLong-term project with access to cutting-edge technology and innovationKey words: FPGA / SoC / DDR memory / RF / Digital Interface / Power Supply / Communication / Telecommunication / CAE / Design / VHDL / Oscilloscopes / Network Analyzers / Signal GeneratorsBy applying to this role you understand that we may collect your personal data and store and process it on our systems.
