Requirements Minimum 4 years of relevant professional experience as a Data Scientist / Data Engineer to develop and maintain the Transaction Monitoring data model. Process large volumes of data using Python, PySpark, Databricks, and Airflow, ensuring scalable data processing and reliable data availability for transaction monitoring applications. Develop and maintain the Transaction Monitoring data model to effectively utilize global data sources. Develop and optimize production-ready Python/PySpark code for processing large-scale data flows. Work with Databricks and Airflow to build scalable and reliable data processing solutions. Contribute to building a monorepository and onboarding new regions to the data model. Collaborate with data producers across Rabobank to understand data sources and ensure data quality. Work closely with developers responsible for creating Transaction Monitoring logic and provide reliable data to support their solutions. Continuously improve the technical quality, scalability, and maintainability of the data model. Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, brainstorming sessions, and continuous improvement activities. Experience as a Data Scientist or Data Engineer. Strong hands-on experience with Python and PySpark. Experience with Databricks. Experience with Airflow. Strong understanding of scalable data processing and data transformations. Knowledge or experience in Transaction Monitoring is preferred. Professional proficiency in English. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Proactive approach with strong problem-solving abilities. Ability to critically reflect on your work and continuously improve. Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics, Information Studies, or a comparable STEM discipline. Experience working in an IT environment. Experience with Microsoft Azure. Knowledge of Medallion Architecture. Experience with large-scale data platforms and distributed data processing.
