A Snapshot of Your Day You work closely with suppliers, procurement, engineering, and manufacturing teams to ensure purchased electrical components meet quality and performance expectations. Your day includes supplier communication, qualification activities, audits, issue resolution, and analysis of quality trends. You support product and process qualification, coordinate corrective actions, and contribute to supplier development initiatives. You also collaborate with global colleagues and suppliers across the EMEA region while helping improve quality processes and supporting product transfers to the Budapest site.How You’ll Make An ImpactPrimary interface for supplier quality topics across manufacturing, engineering, procurement, and suppliersResponsibility for supplier qualification and requalification, capability assessments, and product and process qualification to ensure production readinessPlanning and execution of supplier audits, verification of compliance with applicable standards, and follow-up of corrective actionsMonitoring of supplier quality performance, analysis of incidents and trends, and implementation of risk-based improvement and escalation measuresOwnership of supplier-related nonconformances and complaints, including containment, root-cause analysis, and sustainable corrective and preventive actionsDevelopment of supplier capabilities, continuous improvement initiatives, preventive quality planning, early supplier involvement, and enhancement of supplier quality processes, tools, and standardsWhat You BringBachelor’s degree or higher in electrical engineering or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experiencemid-term professional experience in supplier quality management, procurement, or manufacturing within the electrical or energy sectorExperience in supplier qualification, supplier audits, product and process qualification, and technical supplier development as a strong advantageKnowledge of quality management methods such as FMEA, 8D, root-cause analysis, and advanced product quality planningStrong organizational, analytical, strategic, and intercultural skills combined with a proactive, self-reliant, and improvement-oriented mindsetFluency in English and German, willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 30% of the time, and ability to obtain a passport if requiredAbout The TeamOur Transformation of Industry division is decarbonizing the industrial sector.
