This is a 4 Year Fixed Term ContractWho we want:An analytical thinkerA solution oriented mindsetVery strong communicatorCollaborative Team PlayerTechnically Curious LearnerSelf-Starter with Ownership MentalityResilient and AdaptableWhat you will do:Technical Responsibilities:Conduct or design prototyping and bench testingConduct problem solving, identify potential solutions, and evaluate them against component and sub-system requirementsConduct research and studies to support product designTranslate design inputs to engineering specifications and produce component and sub-system level designsCode development time/resource estimation to support projectsDesign new components applying various design conceptsGenerate and review the necessary documents with project teams (requirements, design, architecture, bugs, test)Business Responsibilities:Demonstrate advanced understanding of customer needs and design inputsDemonstrate proficiency with product’s intended use and clinical proceduresLearn how the financial models are constructedMed Device Compliance:Follow fundamental industry standards, design requirements and test strategies which apply to regulatory requirementsIndependently create or refine engineering documentation, such as the Design History fileFollow R&D procedure like design controls and risk management, per the Quality Management SystemGeneral Responsibilities:Work cooperatively with R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, Regulatory, Clinical, Marketing and Project Management to ensure project success as a key member of the team, collaborating with others and solidifying relationshipsQuickly process and assimilate procedures, policies, processes, systems, and technology requiredWork on complex problems, applying advanced experience and learningsDemonstrate ownership and prioritize work with minimal supervisionBuild relationships and influence among peersLead code reviews for components in systems applying design principals, coding standards and best practicesDevelop and design software components per requirements and architecture definedMinimum Qualifications (Required):Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering/ Computer Science or related discipline & 2+ years of work experiencePreferred Qualifications (Strongly desired):Technical Skills:Exposure to programming skills. Design new components applying various concepts design concepts and patternsDesign and Development Skills:Experience with integrated development environments (IDE) for projectsExperience with software tools for static/dynamic analysis, memory management, code coverage and techniques for analyzing softwareIntegration and deployment processes experienceSoftware Process Skills:Experience in creating estimates for code implementation time/resource for assigned tasksExperience in Software Development Life Cycle processesExperience using Application Lifecycle Management /Traceability toolsExperience with regulatory and compliance standards applied to the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)Germany Pay Ranges:Berlin 40Std: €60.000 - €99.900 EUR AnnualAt Stryker, we believe transparency helps candidates make confident decisions about their next career step.
