Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic IT Business Partner for FinanceAct as the overall IT Business Partner for Finance in the EU Hub, covering key Finance domains such as:Financial Accounting (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets)Controlling and Management ReportingBudgeting, Forecasting, and PlanningTreasury, Tax, and Statutory ReportingInternal controls and complianceServe as the primary IT contact for Finance leadership on all IT-related topics. Partner with Finance LeadershipWork Closely With Finance Leadership (CFO Organization) ToUnderstand Finance strategy, regulatory requirements, reporting needs, and operational pain pointsTranslate Finance business needs into a clear IT demand, capability roadmap, and investment planEnsure alignment between Finance strategy, IT strategy, and enterprise architecture principlesOwn and continuously maintain the Finance IT roadmap, aligned with enterprise priorities and budget constraintsProvide Finance input into IT investment planning, budget prioritization, and value realization tracking End-to-End Requirements ManagementOwn end-to-end requirement management for Finance-related IT initiativesShape, validate, and prioritize business requirements in close collaboration with Finance stakeholdersEnsure requirements are clearly defined with:Business objectives and expected outcomesRegulatory, compliance, and audit considerationsScope, dependencies, risks, and assumptionsClear success metrics and KPIs Change Management & Business AdoptionLead business-side change management for Finance IT initiativesDrive stakeholder alignment across:Finance, IT, and other enabling functionsEU Hub and National Sales Companies (NSCs)Ensure Finance business readiness, including:Process design and standardizationData quality, governance, and controlsCapability building and end-user trainingTrack system adoption, process compliance, and business value realization post go-live Project & Program AccountabilityAct as Business Owner and Accountable Sponsor for Finance IT projects and programsEnsure initiatives are:Clearly scoped with defined objectives, deliverables, timelines, and success criteriaPrioritized and sequenced in line with the Finance IT roadmapPartner with Project and Program Managers to:Define delivery approach, milestones, and critical pathManage risks, issues, dependencies, and change requestsPrepare and support tollgates, steering committees, and portfolio reviewsEnsure transparent communication of status, risks, impacts, and decisions to Finance and IT stakeholdersSupport go-live readiness, post-implementation reviews, and ongoing value realization Cross-Functional & Vendor CollaborationCoordinate with Solution Architects and Product Teams (DDC and/or external suppliers) to:Ensure Finance solution design meets business and regulatory requirementsAlign Finance solution and product roadmaps with enterprise standardsCollaborate with Project and Program Managers on planning, execution, milestones, and governance Architecture, Security & ComplianceEnsure Finance IT solutions:Meet business requirements and agreed success metricsComply with enterprise architecture standardsAdhere to security, internal control, audit, compliance, and data governance requirementsSupport statutory, tax, and regulatory reporting obligationsEducationTo be successful in the role you will demonstrate:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, preferably with additional coursework or a minor in Business Administration.ExperienceStrong understanding of Finance processes and systems (e.g. ERP-SAP, Financial Reporting, Planning tools)Experience as an IT Business Partner, Finance Business Analyst, or IT Product OwnerSolid understanding of internal controls, audit, and compliance requirementsExperience working in multi-country or regional Finance organizationsStrong stakeholder management and communication skillsBusiness outcome– and value-driven mindset Skills:Excellent communication skills with the ability to coordinate across multicultural and cross-functional teams.Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to translate business needs into system solutions.Fluent in English; additional European languages or Mandarin Chinese a plus.Geely’s mission is to create a smart mobility experience that exceeds user expectations, become a tech-driven global auto company and the most competitive and respectable Chinese auto brand in the world.Sourced from LinkedIn.
