About the RoleAs Global Product Manager, Product Protection, you will be responsible for driving the strategic development, growth and performance of a portfolio of cosmetic ingredients within the Micro Protection Business Unit. This role can be based either in Clichy (Paris, France) or Holzminden (Germany). Acting as the global business owner for your product range, you will define and execute strategies that support business growth, innovation and profitability while addressing evolving market and customer needs.Key ResponsibilitiesDefine and implement global product strategies aligned with category objectives and business priorities.Manage the full product lifecycle, from market assessment and product launches to portfolio optimization and discontinuation decisions.Analyze market trends, customer needs and competitive activity to identify growth opportunities.Drive innovation initiatives and support the development of new products in collaboration with R&D and cross-functional teams.Develop business cases, pricing strategies and go-to-market plans to maximize revenue and profitability.Act as the central point of contact for all functions involved in the lifecycle of the product portfolio.Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, R&D, Regulatory, Operations and Supply Chain teams to ensure successful execution of business plans.Monitor portfolio performance and recommend actions to achieve commercial and strategic objectives. About YouYou are a strategic and commercially driven professional with a passion for innovation, product management and market development. You enjoy working in a global environment and have the ability to connect market insights, customer needs and business objectives to deliver sustainable growth.What You'll BringUniversity degree in Business, Marketing, Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Life Sciences or a related field.Several years of experience in product management, marketing, business development or a related commercial role, ideally within the cosmetics, personal care or specialty ingredients industry.Strong understanding of product lifecycle management and portfolio strategy.Proven ability to identify market opportunities and translate them into successful business initiatives.Strong analytical and financial acumen, with experience managing profitability and growth targets.Excellent project management and stakeholder management skills.Ability to collaborate effectively across functions, cultures and geographic regions.Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence diverse audiences.Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.An entrepreneurial mindset, a proactive approach and a genuine interest in innovation and customer success.
