for an experienced Solution Architect to support the development and implementation of a strategic Enterprise Repository within a large banking environment.The Enterprise Repository will connect information from across the organisation, including business processes, applications, technology assets, controls, risks, assessments, architecture and configuration management data.The objective is to create greater visibility into dependencies across the bank and enable better decision-making around transformation, regulatory change, risk, operational improvements and future investments.As Solution Architect, you will work in a multidisciplinary environment alongside Product Owners, Business Stakeholders, Enterprise Architects, Business Architects, Tech Leads and DevOps Engineers.Your focus will be on solution architecture, information modelling, integration, governance and stakeholder alignment.Key ResponsibilitiesTranslate business, functional and regulatory requirements into practical architectural solutions.Develop Project Start Architectures (PSAs) and solution outlines.Define scalable, secure and compliant solution architectures.Design and develop information models, metadata structures and relationships.Establish architecture principles, standards and governance approaches.Contribute to domain architecture roadmaps and target-state designs.Ensure security, risk, compliance and audit requirements are addressed within architectural designs.Provide architectural guidance throughout the full delivery lifecycle.Support teams in implementing architecture standards and agreed target architectures.Enterprise Repository ResponsibilitiesContribute to the selection and implementation of an Enterprise Repository solution.Define business, functional, technical and non-functional requirements.Participate in vendor evaluations, market assessments and proof-of-concepts.Support repository implementation, migration and integration activities.Establish information governance and operational processes.Help ensure information within the repository remains accurate, structured and maintainable.Support continuous improvement and adoption of the Enterprise roadmaps.Ensure alignment with enterprise and domain architecture.Provide architectural governance throughout implementation.Guide and coach development and delivery teams.Ensure solutions remain aligned with security, compliance, risk and regulatory requirements.Stakeholder ManagementWork closely with business and technology stakeholders.Collaborate with Product Owners, Area Leads, Tech Leads and Architects.Balance business value, technical feasibility and operational requirements.Present architecture designs, roadmaps and principles clearly to stakeholders.Drive alignment and adoption across multiple teams and domains.Required ExperienceStrong experience as a Solution Architect, preferably within banking, financial services or another complex regulated organisation.Experience creating Project Start Architectures (PSAs) and solution designs.Strong knowledge of Enterprise Architecture and Solution Architecture principles.Experience with information modelling, metadata and information governance.Experience connecting business processes, applications, technology and organisational information.Strong understanding of architecture governance and standards.Experience with system and application integration.Experience translating business and regulatory requirements into technical solutions.Strong documentation and stakeholder-management skills.Ability to work across multiple business and technology domains.Preferred ExperienceExperience with an Enterprise Repository, Enterprise Architecture Repository or CMDB-related environment.Knowledge of enterprise modelling or architecture platforms.Experience with repository or tooling selection, including vendor assessment and proof-of-concepts.Experience with dependency modelling, impact analysis and scenario planning.Experience within a large banking or regulated enterprise environment.Understanding of risk, controls, compliance and audit requirements.Personal ProfileYou are a structured and analytical architect who can move comfortably between high-level strategic architecture and practical implementation.You are able to connect the bigger enterprise picture with concrete technical decisions, communicate clearly with both business and technical stakeholders, and provide architectural direction in a complex multi-stakeholder environment.Languages: Fluent Dutch and English are
