Working within a collaborative team environment, this team member participates in technical project activities, requirements-gathering sessions, and solution design discussions.Leveraging a strong understanding of SAP development principles and best practices, the SAP Developer contributes to application design and technical architecture, evaluates solution alternatives, and develops, documents, and unit tests software solutions to ensure quality, reliability, and alignment with business and user needs.The SAP Developer collaborates with functional and technical stakeholders to deliver project objectives, provides technical expertise and guidance as needed, and supports system enhancements, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance to ensure the stability and performance of SAP applications.You will be part of the Application Development team at our European Head office in Amersfoort (NL) and report to the Manager Applications.Key ResponsibilitiesManage development activities for project implementations, enhancements, and ongoing application supportDesign, develop and maintain ABAP objects and configuration including reports, interfaces, user-exits, BAPIs, BADIs, SmartForms, LSMW, RESTful services using OData Service, and dialog programsParticipate in requirements gatherings and investigating alternatives. Research and evaluate relevant technologies and present alternative solutionsDevelop technical specifications and participate in the development, testing, implementation, and documentation of solutionsWhat You BringBachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or equivalent technical experienceThree or more years of ABAP programming experience, including user-exits, ALV reports, Web Dynpro, interfaces, workflows, BAPI, BAdIs, Smartforms, Adobe Forms, LSMW, dialog programs, OData, CDS, and HANA viewsProven experience in modifying standard SAP Fiori Applications and developing custom Fiori ApplicationsStrong knowledge of ABAP Objects and modern ABAP (version 7.40+)Recent experience with SAP S/4HANA and familiarity with multiple SAP modules, such as FI, CO, PP, PLM, SD, LE, WM, QM, PMUnderstanding relational databases and Structured Query Language (SQL)Strong analytical skills with the ability to quickly comprehend technical informationExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a team environmentFamiliarity with project management methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile, and ScrumPreferred QualificationsKnowledge of SAP technologies such as ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP), Fiori Elements, and SAP BTPUnderstanding and experience in cGMP validated environmentUnderstanding and experience with SAP SuccessFactors integrationsWhat We OfferAn international working environment, fueled by respect and a healthy work-life balance tailored to the business and team member’s needs27 paid vacation days (based on fulltime contract) with option to purchase five additional daysCommuting allowance of €0,25/km or full coverage of public transportation costsA wide variety of internal trainings and development possibilities and a tuition program for external trainingsThe opportunity to pro-actively work on your vitality and fitnessState-of-the-art facilities, including green areas, in-house restaurant and gymAdditional benefits, such as:Attractive pension scheme (your contribution at 4%, ours at 12%)€50 net monthly health insurance contributionTwo (paid) days per year dedicated to volunteering activitiesSeveral fun company events and meaningful initiatives organized throughout the yearAt Applied Medical, we are committed to make a meaningful, positive difference, each and every day.
