At Biosynth, we bring together science, innovation and expertise to help our customers develop and manufacture the products they need to advance life science.As our Peptide Division continues to grow, we are looking for a Project Manager to join our team and take ownership of customer projects from planning through to successful delivery.This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong scientific background who enjoys working across teams, managing multiple priorities and being the link between customers and technical teams.The roleAs Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing projects from start to finish, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.You will work closely with internal teams and customers to make sure project scope, milestones, deliverables and expectations are clearly understood and managed throughout the project lifecycle.You will also play an important role in supporting our GMP activities and contributing to the continued development of our project management processes.What you’ll be doingManage and deliver projects on time, within budget and to agreed quality standardsLead project teams and coordinate project scope, milestones and deliverablesAct as a key point of contact for customers, providing regular project updates and clear, well-written reportsWork closely with internal stakeholders to identify potential project risks and put effective mitigation plans in placeEnsure projects comply with GMP and relevant global regulatory requirements within the life science industryPrepare the documentation required for GMP and project management activitiesSupport customer acquisition by joining customer calls as a technical specialist and contributing to proposal and quotation preparationLead project close-out meetings, reviewing technical and financial performance against agreed work packages and capturing lessons learnedSupport the development and improvement of GMP and project management processesContribute to the development of new methodologies and processesWork in accordance with Biosynth’s quality systems and procedures, including ISO 9001, ISO 13485 and GMP-API requirementsWhat we’re looking forWe’re looking for a scientifically minded Project Manager who can combine technical knowledge with strong organisation, communication and stakeholder management skills.You will have:An MSc in Chemistry or a closely relevant scientific discipline is essential - A PhD in Chemistry or Biological Sciences would be advantageous.Previous, relevant professional experienceStrong theoretical and practical knowledge of peptide chemistry, including peptide synthesis and the challenges involved in peptide development and manufacturing.Thorough knowledge of GMPExperience working with quality management systemsExcellent written and spoken EnglishGood IT skills, including Microsoft Office and ideally SAPA structured and independent approach to your workExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsThe ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while taking ownership of your projectsWhy join Biosynth?You’ll be joining a growing global life science business where your work will have a direct impact on the successful delivery of customer projects.This role offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of science, project management and customer relationships, while contributing to the development of our peptide and GMP capabilities.If you enjoy taking ownership, bringing people together and making sure complex scientific projects move forward successfully, we’d love to hear from you.About usBiosynth® is an innovative life sciences reagents, custom synthesis and manufacturing services company headquartered in Staad, Switzerland.
