Our customers trust in our solutions, which is why we are continuously looking for new talents.When joining Tieto Tech Consulting as a (Senior) Data & AI Engineer, youDesign, build, and maintain scalable data platforms and data & AI solutions tailored to business needs, including the development of governance structures and access control conceptsDesign, implement and optimize robust data pipelines using modern frameworks such as Databricks or similar technologiesManage and enhance CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments, including containerization and orchestrationAct as a trusted technical advisor and sparring partner for our customersCollaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver impactful data-driven solutionsMonitor, optimize and ensure the performance, scalability and reliability of data workflowsStay up to date with the latest trends in data engineering and apply innovative approaches to solve complex challengesWho We Are Looking For5+ years of experience in designing and implementing scalable data solutions, platforms, and data integration interfacesStrong expertise in data modeling (e.g. dimensional modeling, normalization/denormalization)Proven experience with cloud-based data platforms (Azure is preferred but experience with AWS or GCP is equally welcome) as well as tools like Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, and architectural patterns such as MedallionStrong programming skills in Python and SQL, with curiosity and openness towards leveraging AI-assisted stakeholdersSolid software engineering mindset, including experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines and modern development practicesAbility to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersA consulting mindset with a customer-centric approachFluency in German (C1 level) and English for stakeholder discussionsPassion for emerging technologies and a continuous learning mindset in the evolving data & AI landscape developments and eager to learn about innovative IT solutionsHigh level of ownership, self-motivation and the ability to quickly dive into new topics while constructively challenging the status quoAs a person, we believe you are a team player who takes action and demonstrates responsibility to organize your work and solve your tasks.
