In this role, you will help build and maintain their core market data and reporting platform, constructing Airflow data pipelines, integrating with financial data vendors, and automating reporting workflows using modern, AI-assisted engineering practices. What you’ll doDesign, build, and maintain Apache Airflow data pipelines and automation workflows. Connect platform capabilities with external financial data providers and internal services. Manage configurations and deployments across test, user-acceptance (UAT), and production environments. Contribute to internal shared Python libraries, CLI tooling, and automated reporting systems. Utilize AI coding tools daily to accelerate delivery while maintaining high software quality standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to scope, code-review, and ship end-to-end features rapidly. What we’re looking forStrong core Python skills with a commitment to writing clean, well-typed, and testable code. Advanced SQL proficiency (writing/optimizing complex queries without relying heavily on ORMs) and hands-on PostgreSQL experience (indexes, query plans, schema design). Demonstrated experience with pipeline orchestration tools (specifically Apache Airflow). Comfortable operating within modern containerized (Docker) and cloud-native environments. Comfortable and effective using AI coding assistants as a routine part of your daily workflow. Proactive communicator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and balances speed with architectural reliability.
