Junior NetSuite DeveloperRole DescriptionThis is a full-time, fully remote role for a Junior Developer at MindCloud, an Oracle NetSuite Alliance Partner. You'll support the configuration, customisation, and maintenance of NetSuite solutions for our clients and internal products, working alongside senior developers who'll mentor you from day one.Your work will span scripting, workflows, and integrations. As well as core NetSuite development, MindCloud builds AI-powered products on top of the platform — including tools that use large language model APIs to automate document processing — so there's real scope to grow into modern web and AI development as you progress. Day to day, you'll help build and modify SuiteScript customisations, troubleshoot system issues, implement enhancements, prepare technical documentation, and take part in testing and deployment.You'll collaborate closely with consultants, project managers, and end users to understand business requirements and translate them into clean, practical technical solutions. We invest heavily in development: through MindCloud Academy you'll receive structured training, certification support, and continuous mentoring on your way to becoming a skilled NetSuite developer.What You'll DoAssist in developing and modifying SuiteScript (JavaScript-based) customisations, workflows, and integrations under the guidance of senior developers.Build and maintain custom records, fields, forms, roles, and workflows in NetSuite.Support the development of integrations between NetSuite and external systems and APIs.Contribute to MindCloud's AI-powered products, including features built on large language model APIs.Troubleshoot and debug functional and technical issues, and implement small enhancements.Prepare technical documentation and participate in testing and deployment.Learn and apply NetSuite development best practices, with openness to feedback and code review.What We're Looking ForKnowledge of programming fundamentals and at least one scripting language — JavaScript preferred, as SuiteScript is JavaScript-based.Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and working with REST APIs / JSON.Interest in AI and large language models, and curiosity about applying them to real business problems (hands-on experience is a plus, not a requirement).Ability to understand business processes in accounting, finance, or operations and translate requirements into technical specifications.Foundational exposure to software testing, debugging, and documentation.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills, with attention to detail.Effective written and verbal communication, and the ability to collaborate with a remote, cross-functional team.Motivation to learn NetSuite and cloud ERP technologies, with openness to mentoring.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Nice to HaveExposure to SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, or other ERP scripting tools.Experience with Node.js, Python, or building/consuming APIs.Any project — academic, personal, or professional — involving AI, automation, or web development.Prior exposure to ERP systems, SaaS products, or business applications.What You'll GetComprehensive onboarding through MindCloud Academy.Structured NetSuite training and certification support.Continuous mentoring from experienced developers and consultants.Hands-on experience on real client projects and on MindCloud's own AI products.A collaborative, supportive, fully remote working environment.Clear career progression towards Developer and Senior Developer roles.
