Role Description: As a HW/FW Manager Engineer at AblaView SL, you will be part of a world class team in charge to develop a novel platform for diagnosis and therapy during cardiac ablation procedures. You will join some of the industry's prominent experts in the field of medical device engineering, while working in a fun and collaborative office environment.You will work on projects in the medical device industry, from process design to commissioning, and be involved in all phases of a project according to your interests. Daily activities include:Manage area resources to optimize its performance in terms of schedule and budget.Ensure constant coordination with development efforts in other R&D areas including Coordination with Quality department for R&D procedures.Lead HW department activities, including among others: design/review PCBs, define/review system architecture and requirements, design and execution of testing and quality control activities, component procurement, technology transfer to manufacturing.Internal consulting in documentation, QC, customer support, and regulatory approvals.Ensure HW department activities are executed following applicable company’s SOPsEnsure the integration of the generated knowledge into the company´s knowledge management system.Required Skills & Requisites: +8 years of relevant experience in the electronics development fieldElectronic Hardware & Firmware design and development experience; with a strong preference for Medical Device environment (ISO 13485) exposition.Experience in high-voltage devices development (up to 3kV) is a must.Elaboration of requirements, system architecture, and design description documentation.Troubleshooting for design and testing experience.V&V plan definition, execution and reporting experience.Experience in ISO 60601 and EMC testing is a must. Understand Modern C/C++ coding (more than 5 years). Git version control; task-tracking (e.g. Atlassian Jira) or similar.Required QualificationsWe are looking for someone with a solid engineering and development background, as well as curiosity, initiative, and the ability to thrive in a highly dynamic environment.Bachelor’s/ master's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.We valueExperience in the medical device industry cycle.Experience in embedded systems.Experience communicating with other technical teams and management. Collect requirements and describe the need for software product features, technical designs, and product strategy.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.English level C1.
