With €2bn AUM, the firm backs family-founded and owner-led companies across the region. It is now hiring an AI Operating Partner to lead its AI agenda, both within the portfolio and inside the firm itself.This is a senior, hands-on appointment. You will own the AI strategy, assemble and head up a Forward Deployed AI Team that sits inside portfolio businesses, and reshape how the firm sources deals, appraises opportunities and oversees its holdings so that AI is part of how it works, not an add-on.ResponsibilitiesDriving AI Value in the PortfolioOwn the AI value creation plan for the portfolio, identifying where AI can move the needle most in each companyWork shoulder to shoulder with CEOs and leadership teams to scope, sequence and deliver AI projects with a clear, measurable impact on EBITDAGauge a target's AI readiness and upside during due diligence, and shape the AI roadmap for the first 100 days of ownershipMeasure the results of AI programmes and present them to the Investment Committee and LPsCreating the Forward Deployed AI TeamHire and develop a group of AI Engineers and specialists who work on the ground inside portfolio companiesDevelop playbooks, toolkits and reusable components that can be replicated at pace from one business to the nextOwn the firm's relationships with AI vendors, model providers and technology partnersInstil a team culture built on speed, pragmatism and constant learningMaking the Firm AI-NativeIntroduce AI across the firm's internal operations, from sourcing and diligence to portfolio monitoring and LP reportingCollaborate with the Partners and deal teams so that AI becomes part of their daily routines and how they make decisionsSkills & ExperienceA history of delivering AI or data transformation programmes with tangible commercial returnsHands-on fluency in current AI, including LLM, agentic systems and process automationExperience assembling and leading strong technical teams, ideally in a consulting, forward deployed or product engineering settingAbility to translate technology into value creationAbility to interface with founders, owner-managers, boards and investment professionals, with strong communication and persuasion skillsA background in private equity, management consulting or a fast-growing technology company is a strong plusKnowledge of the DACH market and Mittelstand business culture; German language skills would be an assetA self-starter who thrives on pace, autonomy and an entrepreneurial, fast-moving environment
