Hi,Greetings from Mouritech !We are recruiting for a position Application Support Engineer to our client located in Italy as a contract role. please do share your resume to pavanit.in@mouritech.com to discuss further.Position – Application Support EngineerLocation – Italy Fulltime/Contract(Onsite) Required Profile: The consultant is expected to bring specialist or expert-level proficiency in application maintenance and general IT support, preferably with experience providing Tier-2 support for business applications, enterprise tools or database administration. The incumbent will workunder the direct supervision and guidance of the DSM Team Lead, and in close collaboration with other DSM members and units. Resolve in a timely manner Tier-2 application issues and escalate Tier-3 issues to Designated focal points;Assist in the evaluation, configuration and installation of new releases in accordance with established configuration management standards;Assist in applications structural changes required during system upgrades;Assist in the deployment of tools and in the implementation of processes to assist in operational support;Assist in responding to application-related queries from end users in remote locations;Facilitate knowledge transfer to Tier-1 and deliver end-user training sessions on the application functionality.Assist in the development and in the updating of software applications related documentation, including technical documentation and system reports, attend operational and other meetings;Provide standby and on-call 24×7 support, and work in shifts when requested;Provide other ad hoc support either within your team or in other teams as required – this includes the participation in special projects or support to service delivery for short period of time on a part-time or full-time basis upon request from the senior management;Required Technical Skills:The resource MUST have the following skills and experience:Three to five years of experience in application maintenance and general IT support;Good working knowledge of client/server applications in a Windows/Linux environment;Good working knowledge of Database Management;Very good knowledge of English (both written and verbal) is required.•Highschool diplomaThe resource SHOULD have the following skills and experience:At least three years of experience administering Microsoft Windows server, SQL Server databases and .NET applications.Good working knowledge of MySQL, RedHat Linux server, and Drupal applicationsGood working knowledge of global Active Directory Architecture, AWS and Azure RequiredSoft Skills:Ability to grasp complex concepts, logical and analytical approach to solving problemsAbility to work under pressure and with minimum supervisionGood interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team of diverse skillsWillingness to improve knowledge and skills and learn new technologies
